Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has attributed the eleventh hour postponement of the presidential and National Assembly elections to the foiling of INEC’s rigging plot by hiss Thursday evening call off of the proposed IPOB election boycott.

The self-styled Supreme Leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB), a group outlawed by the reelection seeking Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari, took to the social network to celebrate this as a confirmation of the colossal might of the group.

Kanu, who is also the Director of a pirate radio station called Radio Biafra London, went further to brandish a purported copy of an already filled Independent National Electoral Commission result sheet for Abia State.

Below is a text of a post on his Twitter handle, @MaziNnamdiKanu earlier today.

“One announcement calling off IPOB boycott late Thursday evening followed by 11th-hour postponement of elections by INEC late on Friday is confirmation of the colossal might of IPOB. One simple announcement and their rigging plans fell apart. Fake Abia result sheet now useless.”

President Buhari’s main challenger has describes the postponement as a provocation but however urged his supporters to remain calm and prepare to for the next date.
