Port Harcourt witnessed a heartwarming celebration on Sunday, 29th December 2024, as Dr. Dax George-Kelly Alabo, DSSRS, FNIQS, the distinguished Executive Secretary of the Border Communities Development Agency, led his family, professional colleagues, and friends to The King’s Assembly for a Thanksgiving Service. Dr. George-Kelly, a respected figure in Nigeria’s public administration and infrastructure development, organised the Thanksgiving to honour God for His enduring faithfulness. The service also served as an opportunity to celebrate his golden jubilee, as he recently turned 50 on the 23rd of December 2024.

In his testimony during the service, the elated celebrant said, “I celebrated my 50th birthday six days ago, and I want to give thanks to God for this grace. I also give glory and adoration to Him alone for the lives of my family members, and the recent promotion and posting of my dear wife.”

This Thanksgiving event brought together a cross-section of dignitaries, including members of the Daigbani Fred George Dynasty, professional colleagues, and close friends, all of whom gathered to celebrate a man whose life reflects dedication, humility, and service to humanity.
