President Trump on Thursday broke his silence on Stormy Daniels, saying he had no knowledge of a $130,000 payment his personal attorney made to the porn star days before the 2016 election.
“No,” Trump told reporters when asked if he knew about the payment.
He referred further questions to his attorney, Michael Cohen.
“You’ll have to ask Michael Cohen. Michael is my attorney. You’ll have to ask Michael.”
Trump also added he has no knowledge of where the money came from. “No, I don’t know,” he said.
Cohen has previously said he made the payment personally.
