The National Working Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party has described Its chairman, Senator Iyorchia Ayu, as a visionary leader and excellent administrator in the following birthday tribute despite unresolved crack in the party.
“The National Working Committee and the entire members of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) family celebrate our own dear National Chairman and Leader of the Nigeria Rescue Team, His Excellency, Sen. Dr. Iyorchia Ayu, as he celebrates his 70th birthday today.
“Sen. Dr. Ayu is a visionary leader and excellent administrator, who continues to demonstrate exceptional commitment in repositioning the PDP on the path of victory in the 2023 general elections, so that our great Party can commence the onerous task of Rescuing, Rebuilding and Redirecting our dear nation from the misrule of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
“Over the years, as University Lecturer, President of the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Minister of Education, Minister of Industry, Minister of Internal Affairs, Minister of Environment and now National Chairman of our great Party, the PDP, Sen. Dr. Ayu continues to distinguish himself as a selfless leader and notable statesman who remains unwavering in his commitment towards the wellbeing of our nation.
