Shehu Sani declares today’s Kaduna LG polls a sham and charade

  • Even before commencement

A Nigerian senator, Shehu Sani has declared the local government elections scheduled to take place today in Laguna State, North Central Nigeria, as a charade, sham and show of shame.

Senator Shehu Sani (APC-Kaduna Central) who has been on a protracted conflict with the State governor, Nasir el-Rufai made this known through a post on his Facebook wall early today.

According to him, the scheduled local government election in Kaduna “is nothing but a charade. Its a comical drama scripted, produced and directed by the state Government” .

“If APC members cannot get justice from APC Government, what is a non APC member expecting.” he added.

“The election will go the way of the ‘APC ward congresses’ – writing list in HOTEL ROOMS and announcing winners. Shame.” The Senator concluded.

The fiery senator seems to be in unison with the other two senators representing Kaduna State in the Nigerian Senate.
