On the Middle-Belt Youth Group Apology to Igbo Video Clip.

Responding to enquiries on the video of a Middle-Belt Youth Group Apology to the Igbo, Tony Nnadi of NINAS wrote on behalf of the Igbo Caucus of the LNC as follows.

“Good as it might seem, all these still amount to dancing around the issues.

The Damage done by the rest of Nigeria to the Igbo by the killings of 1966, the Genocidal War of 1967-1970 and the Post-War Punitive Policies against the Igbo were made permanent by the Imposition of the Unitary Constitution of 1979 by the Victorious side in that War, to keep the Igbo permanently subjugated and isolated in the affairs of Nigeria, all compounded by the Vitriolic Hatred that unites the rest of Nigeria against the Igbo; and so, no matter what pretences and platitudes anyone may throw up, the real remedy to the Igbo Situation in Nigeria as deliberately contrived and codified, is the wholesale Decommission the Unitary Constitution of Nigeria (1999) and Grand Renegotiation and Reconfiguration of the Constitutional Arrangements of the Union. The alternative would be the immediate Dissolution of the Union of Death, Attrition and Backwardness that Unitary Nigeria has become for the Igbo and unfortunately, the rest of Nigeria.

The practical way to proceed with that Remediation is to Acknowledge the Truth of what went wrong and to set in motion the appropriate Remediation Process by the Suspension of any plans for further National Elections in Nigeria under that Constitution of Death and the initiation of an Immediate TRANSITIONING for the Renegotiation, Reconfiguration and Reconstruction of the failed Union.

The NINAS Union Reconstruction Propositions offer all sides to the Nigerian Union Dispute, including the Government and the Stakeholder-Segment of International Community, the most viable, most immediate and most Comprehensive Strategy Framework and Process for Safely undertaking this inevitable Union Reconstruction of Nigeria in a manner that could result in a Proper Federation, a Confederation or the Emergence of Independent Units of Successor-Sovereign State Entities from the Distressed Federation of Nigeria, dictated by the uninhibited Self-Determination Imperative for the Constituent Peoples of Nigeria, including the Igbo.

Anything short of this is an invitation to the Disorderly Dissolution of the Toxic Union of Nigeria which many would prefer than remaining in the Union of Death in the name of Peace.

It is not enough for a random Youth Group from the Middle-Belt to go to one random group in Igboland to apologise while the Middle-Belt elders who committed the aforementioned atrocities against the Igbo and who imposed the Constitutional Shackles against the Igbo, remain arrogantly unapologetic, clinging to that horrible Constitution they imposed on the Igbo (and Nigeria) as basis of Union, retaining the humongous personal benefits accruing to them and their People as booty from that Genocidal War whilst dragging the Igbo to Elections every four years under that Constitution in the pretence that Nigeria is a Democracy and Federation.

We must also ask ourselves why they expressed support for the amorphous and destructive “Biafra Restoration” of now whilst apologising to the Igbo who are still being killed by both Nigeria and the proponents of the Phantom Biafra. Something is patently wrong and deeply with that reference to Biafra.

Same for the other members of the 1967 Alliance (the Caliphate, the Renegade Wing of both the Yoruba West and the Coastal East) who continue to cling tenaciously to that Unitary Constitution, along with the diverse benefits it confers on them to eternal detriment of the Igbo.

Listen carefully to this clip of October 2024 in order to understand the depth of wrongs and therefore the gravity of the offence of the crooked characters who cling tenaciously and openly to that Unitary Constitution of Death in pursuit of their personal political ambitions: Link to the video:

Tony Nnadi is the Secretary General of the Lower Niger Congress (LNC).
