Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike has on behalf of his wife, Suzette, the Government and people of Rivers State felicitated with former President Goodluck Jonathan, GCFR, on the occasion of his 62nd Birthday.
The governor’s message was contained in a statement signed and circulated in Port Harcourt on Wednesday, November 19, by Mr Paulinus Nsirim, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Information and Communications.
Governor Wike described the former President as a selfless leader and a beacon of light for the growth of democracy in Nigeria.
As a statesman, he said, the former President has continued to nurture the ideals of unity and peaceful co-existence.
He prayed that God will grant him good health and the divine enablement to continue to serve the Nation and humanity.
