The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has obtained an interim order for the forfeiture of Okorocha’s assets, including those of his wife and children.
Among Okorocha’s assets to be forfeited is the Rochas Foundation New College Owerri which was built on over 400 acres of land belonging to the old Imo IBC premises.
Also included is a 16 blocks of 96 flats each Estate belonging to the wife located at Akachi area and an all Bungalow Self Styled Self Service Estate.
As well as 4 Hotels, 3 Shopping Malls, 3 Shopping Plazas, 2 Hospitals, 2 New International Secondary Schools and about 60 vehicles all belonging to Okorocha’s children,..
As well as to his former Principal Secretary, Dr Paschal Obi who signed the infamous contract letter for the Governor’s contractor located at No5 Ugbelle Street Ideato, Imo State.
The Head of EFCC Enugu Zonal Office Usman Iman made the disclosure while briefing newsmen insisting that the commission has established primary facie case against all the suspects, in anticipation of a permanent forfeiture.
Iman also noted that the facilities, especially the schools will remain functional for now for the sake of the students pending when the assets will be returned to Imo state.
