Mr. Seyi Tinubu, the son of All Progressive Congress (APC) Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, visited Maiduguri, the capital of Borno state, on Saturday, 14 January 2023 for various engagements.
The visit, hosted by Youth Mandate Group, included the presentation of an ambulance donated to the state specialists hospital by the group.
During his visit to Maiduguri, the hometown of APC Vice-Presidential Candidate Kashim Shettima, Mr. Tinubu also participated in a community engagement program, which included the final of a football tournament at the Elkanami Warriors Sports Center in Maiduguri.
Team Asiwaju emerged as the champion and was awarded a cash prize of one million Naira. The event was attended by Rt. Hon. Satomi Ahmed Saleh, a Member of the Jere Federal Constituency at the National Assembly.
Youth Mandate Group, a new initiative founded by Son to Senator Kashim Shettima, Ameer Shettima, Sadiq Bunu, and a group of young leaders from across Nigeria, appears to be gaining traction in the country. The platform aims to empower and mobilize young people to make a positive impact in their communities.
In addition, the group’s efforts is highlighted by this visit from prominent political figure, Mr Tinubu, who toured the facilities of the Maiduguri BATKSM call center.
According to the group, this program, undertaken by Senator Kashim Shettima and the Youth Mandate Group, aims to provide support and resources to young people in the region.
The Youth Mandate Group, with a strong focus on empowering young people and engaging with the community, is making a significant impact in Nigerian politics.
Recently, Mr. Seyi Tinubu visited Maiduguri and met with the Governor of Borno state, Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum, and HRH Abubakar Ibn Umar Garba El-Amin El-Kanemi, the Shehu of Borno.
Mr. Tinubu congratulated the Governor on his daughter’s marriage and praised the Youth Mandate Group for their positive impact on citizens’ lives.
The group insists that under the purposeful leadership of Tinubu-Shettima, the group is working towards a brighter future for Nigeria, where the country can reach its full potential.
