Abuja, Nigeria – The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has released the comprehensive details for the upcoming supplementary election in the Jalingo/Yorro/Zing Federal Constituency of Taraba State, scheduled for Wednesday, February 14, 2024. In addition, the suspended election in Enugu South 1 State Constituency will resume on the same date.

The supplemental election in Taraba State will be held in particular Polling Units within the three Local Government Areas that make up the Jalingo/Yorro/Zing Federal Constituency, according to a recent notification from INEC. The Returning Officer announced that there will be a total of 24 Polling Unitsโ15 in Jalingo, 7 in Yorro, and 2 in Zingโwhere the extra elections will be held.for the entire Constituency.
To ensure transparency and accessibility, INEC has uploaded the complete list and delimitation details of the Polling Units to provide information on the number of registered voters and Permanent Voters’ Cards (PVCs) collected. The Commission said this information is accessible on the Commission’s official website and social media platforms.
The eight Polling Units in the Enugu South 1 State Constituency, where elections were previously postponed, have the same names and boundaries. INEC has advised all political parties and candidates to remind their agents and followers to keep the peace throughout the voting process.
