Rivers State Government has intercepted credible intelligence wherein the General Officer Commanding (GOC) 6 Division of the Nigerian Army, Major General Jamil Sarhem has planted a suspect to allege that the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike sent him to kill the slain soldier at Abonnema.
A statement by his Special Assistant on Electronic Media, Mr. Simeon Nwakaudu said Governor Wike described the plot by the killer GOC as childish, false and diversionary.
The governor stated the plot by the GOC 6 Division and his associates will not stop him from pointing out the atrocities of the GOC of the 6 Division of the Nigerian Army. .
He vowed to continue to criticise the unprofessional conduct of the GOC and his unholy alliance with the APC to manipulate the electoral process in Rivers State.
