In an effort to change as many lives as possible, House of Representatives member RT Hon. James Abiodun Faleke asked his constituents to support him going forward on Saturday.
Speaking at an empowerment workshop he organised for his constituents in Ikeja, Faleke (APC-Ikeja) made the call.
More than five thousand constituents benefited from the initiative.
At the programme, beneficiaries received things like minibuses, sewing machines, grinding machines, Toyota Corollas, Hilux vans, tricycles, and other items for empowerment.
In addition, the congressman gave SUVs to traditional leaders, patrol cars to police stations in his district, and ambulances that would be used by the different Ikeja communities.
Faleke declared that the empowerment campaign was an unmistakable sign of his unwavering dedication to enhancing the welfare and well-being of his citizens.
“We sincerely appreciate God providing us with the chance to carry out this empowerment initiative. Our citizens should be entitled to more, but so many others are the benefits. Since this constituency is unique and its residents are unique, we must make sure they benefit from democracy. We will keep doing more for our people as we have in the past.
“To brighten up our streets and towns, we have given out more than 400 minibuses, 103 tricycles, 118 dryers, 315 grinding machines, and solar lights.
“We now have three ambulances for community safety and emergencies, five SUVs for our traditional leaders, five Hilux vans for police stations for efficient policing, three Hummer buses for our market vendors, and empowerment products for our craftsmen.
“With God’s grace, I will keep trying my hardest to serve the people in the constituency because I am dedicated to making a positive difference in their lives,” he said.
