Tinubu to Meet Northern Leaders after Atiku Said They Needed a Northern President Only

The 2023 All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate and former Governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, will hold a meeting of discussion with the Northern Nigerian leaders under the shadow of Northern Cooperation party.

According to a statement issued by the Tinubu Media Office on Sunday, 16 October 2022, the meeting is organized by northern leaders for elected presidential candidates to discuss their plans for the Northern part of the country before the 2023 general elections.

“Six organizations and institutions in the North have prepared a meeting that will be held at the North House conference room in Kaduna. Six organizations include Northern Consultative Forum (ACF), Sir Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation, Northern Elders Forum (NEF), Arewa House, Northern Women Party and Northern Research and Development Project,

“The APC presidential candidate will attend the meeting in an effort to unite all parts of Nigeria with his campaign message to cooperate with you. For the development of the country.

“The meeting, scheduled for 1pm on Monday, will be broadcasted live via Continental TV (TVC),” Tinubu media office added.

The meeting will be holding barely days after the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate clannishly declared that northern voters want to vote for a northern presidential candidate only.
