Presidential candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has during an interview with leaders of Afenifere where he presented his policy documentary, and his preparations for making a better Nigeria, revealed the assurance that President Muhammadu Buhari and Northern APC governors and leaders gave him
According to him, President Buhari and the northern governors and leaders assured him during the meeting which took place in Akure city of Ondo state at the house of Afenifere leader, Pa Reuben Fasoranti on Sunday, October 30 2022 that Nigeria can survive with its unity and other challenges.
Recalling his visit to Pa Fasoranti on 4th March this year when he was on a contact with the foreigners before the APC elections, Tinubu said he promised Afenifere chairman come back after ya Winning tickets for APC.
Tinubu said he came to fulfill his promise, and asked Yoruba leaders to thank President Buhari and Northern governors for their commitment and being promise keepers.

While welcoming Tinubu and his allies, Afenifere secretary, Cif Seinde Arogbofa, requested Tinubu to be the leader that will unite Nigeria and bring development to the country.

Deputy Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, who welcomed Tinubu and his team on behalf of Governor Rotimi Akeredolu said the people of Ondo state are Afenifere and will support Tinubu for victory.

In his speech, the governor of Ekiti State, Biodun Oyebanji, assured Yoruba leaders that all South West and Ekiti governors are behind Tinubu.
