Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari has presented the list of nominees for the Governing Board of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) to the Senate after 7 years of contemptuous dillydally.
Indications to this effect emerged today when the Senate President, Senator Ahmad Lawan, at the plenary session, read a letter from President Muhammadu Buhari requesting the Senate to confirm the appointment of the Chairman and members of the board.
Recall that the NDDC Acting Managing Director, Engr. Emmanuel Audu-Ohwavborua, was appointed to hold forte pending the appointment of members of the Governing Board, including a substantive Managing Director.
