HushPuppi: Why Nigeria May Not Extradite Supercop DCP Abba Kyari To The U.S.

Several reasons have been adduced on why the Nigerian authorities may not extradite the country’s heavily decorated and celebrated supercop, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) In-charge of the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Intelligence Response Team (IRT), Abba Kyari, to the United States of America to answer questions in the ongoing FBI investigation of cybercrime and fraud allegedly committed by Ramon Olorunwa Abbas, a.k.a., Hushpuppi.

While some suggest reasons such as the need to protect Nigeria’s sovereignty, others point to purported pandemic corruption in the entire country’s policing institution, in particular, and the government, in general.
