The suit was filed by Senator Heineken Lokpobiri, an APC Aspirant in the September 4, 2019 Guber Primary, challenging the emergence of Mr. Lyon David as the Candidate of his Party.
The court this morning held that Mr. Lyon was not validly nominated and declared that none of the aspirants in the September 4, primary should be fielded by the APC in the November 16, Guber Election.
