The charge was given by Examination President General Shaibu to candidates for the In-Theatre LCPPE today, February 11, 2024, in the Theatre Command Officers’ Mess Maimalari Cantonment Maiduguri.
The President stated that their professional expertise was the basis for their nomination to take part in the activity, stating that the work at hand was essential because the results of the Lieutenant-Captain practical exam would determine the candidate’s ability to advance in the Nigerian Army (NA). He urged the Directing Staff (DS) members to use their knowledge to make the trip a great one, emphasising that the evaluation has to be done with the utmost professionalism in accordance with the modern environment in OPHK and other operations around the nation.
“To Transform the NA into a Well- Trained, Equipped and Highly Motivated Force Towards Achieving our Constitutional Responsibilities within a Joint Environment,” as stated in the Chief of Army Staff Command Philosophy, is how the Theatre Commander went on to say that the examination should be designed to help the NA produce well-trained problem solving officers.
