The Nigerian Army on Sunday warned that any citizen caught in possession of arms and ammunition would be dealt with in accordance with the law.

Army Reacts To Danjuma’s Claims, Denies Condoning Killings

The Nigerian Army has rejected the statement by a former Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Theophilus Danjuma (rtd), who accused the military of complicity in the killings in Taraba, Benue and other “riverine states” in the country.

Danjuma had on Saturday during the convocation ceremony of the Taraba State University accused the military for not being neutral and covering those behind the attacks
