The PDP on Saturday explained why the Supreme Court has no option than to dismiss the pending application by the APC to review its judgment on the Zamfara Governorship election matter.
In this erudite Op-Ed, Inibehe Effiong writes: “The stunning facts against Mr. Degi-Eremienyo upon which the reliefs sought by the PDP and its candidates were predicated are as follows:”
The PDP has lambasted APC National Chairman Adams Oshiomhole, for attempting to politicize the accursed judgment of the Supreme Court on Imo guber despite evident consensus by the generality of Nigerians for a review.
“But before the election, Atikulators had come with this jejune permutation. They would sweep the Southeast, the South-south, the North Central, share Northeast and Northwest, as well as Southwest. And Atiku would coast home. True? Well, dreams don’t cost anything. The dream eventually became nightmare,” Femi Adesina writes in a controversial Op-Ed.
“In a democracy, you need a strong judiciary, a free press and an impartial electoral umpire. Nigeria has none of those three elements as at today,” says Atiku.
