The Rivers State chapter of All Progressives Congress, APC, has alleged that there is an ongoing plot by Gov. Nyesom Wike, Chief of Staff, Government House, Port Harcourt, Emeka Woke and others to blackmail APC, Chief Chidi Lloyd and Hon. Ojukaye Flag-Amachree.
The Court also affirmed the validity of the congresses which took place May 19, 20 and 21 and subsequently culminated in the election of Hon. Ojukaye Flag-Amachree State Executive Committee with such congresses having been conducted in compliance with the constitution of the APC (1st Defendant). It therefore ordered that both 1st and 2nd Defendants (APC and its National Chairman) are bound to give effect to the outcome of the said congresses.
The lawmaker representing Ahoada East Constituency I, at the Rivers State House Assembly, Martins Mannah, who was elected on the platform of People’s Democratic Party, PDP, has defected to the opposition, the All Progressives Congress, APC.
