The Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, former Vice President Atiku Abukakar, has greeted with alarm the reported deaths of 50 policemen in Zamfara state at the hands of bandits.
104 terror suspects were killed by operatives of the Nigerian police during an attack on Mahanga forest in Birnin Mogaji Local Government Area of Zamfara State.
An eye witness said the suspected gunmen attacked the two communities and the incident was immediately reported to the security agents.
He said three of the bandits were arrested by security agents following the prompt report of the incident to the security personnel.
