Part of the solution to the poverty problem is the practice of true federalism under which the Federal Government, the States and local government will be responsible partners with each level of government working hard to eradicate poverty among the people under its care. Unfortunately, President Buhari does not believe in true Federalism compared to the opposition candidate in the 2019 polls, Atiku Abubakar who is a disciple of Federalism and who has taken pains to lay out the ways and means of its implementation to free the creative and productive energies of the constituent parts of the country.

Invasion Of Taraba Governor’s Residence: PDP Poses 5 Questions

The PDP has expressed worry that the Federal Government of Nigeria and the Police are yet to provide answers and come clean on the unlawful invasion of the residence of Taraba State Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku in violation of his constitutional immunity. The party insists that until these questions are answered, the PDP and the people of Taraba state will continue to hold the APC and the Federal Government responsible for the invasion or should any harm suddenly befalls Governor Darius Ishaku, members of his family, officials of his government or officials of their party in the state.
